How to Keep Users Coming Back to My App?

Hi all! I just launched my mobile app, and the first few days were amazing - downloads were rolling in. But now, after the first week, most users have disappeared. I’m trying to figure out what’s normal for retention rates across different app types and how to actually improve them. I’ve searched online but everything seems scattered or outdated. Any advice or reliable resources?
