Boho texture for rental apartment

I live in a rental in West Hollywood and I’m desperate to hide my boring white walls. I want a cozy boho vibe but I need something that won’t lose me my security deposit when I move out. Has anyone tried a removable canvas-style wallpaper? Is it actually easy to pull off, or does it leave a sticky mess behind? I really like the look of canvas texture but I’m a bit nervous about the removal process.

Being a renter in LA is tough for decorating, but peel and stick is a total game changer for our situation. Take a look at this https://california-wallpaper.com/products/boho-design-wallcovering-canvas-peel-2 texture because it gives you that expensive fabric look without any permanent commitment. I used this in my living room and it adds so much warmth and depth compared to flat paint. When I moved apartments last year, I just peeled it right off and the paint underneath was perfectly fine. It is much better than the thin vinyl stuff that looks cheap.
